Project Consulting
Owner’s rep for non-profit organization
The first project for a non-profit entity that AbacusCPM was involved, is located in Harlem (New York), the client had a ¨brown stone” and wanted to develop a project that will provide shelter to abused women, but been unable to start the project due to the characteristic NY red-tape and their insistence to consider the 20 rooms and communal kitchen as a hotel triggering a lot of requirements that made the project unfeasible. When the owner hired S&V to develop a Design-Build, AbacusCPM was involved during the entire project doing the Construction Management and delivering a functional project withing time and budget.
LEED Consulting
Abacus CPM no longer offers LEED-related services for those seeking US Green Building Council Certification. These services, which were based on “best practices” principles and focused on sustainable site development, water conservation, energy efficiency, responsible materials selection, and indoor environmental quality, are no longer part of our portfolio
